Brushstrokes

In this illustration, I wanted to test a painting technique using only shapes made by the brushes. Without relying on a line sketch, I built the composition with brushstrokes. I gradually added details and refined the illustration, keeping the focus on the foreground while simulating a blur effect in the background by omitting details.
